This is your opportunity to sharpen your cookery skills and get a taste of a real working kitchen with a fast track on-the-job training programme. We require trainee chefs to train up in our cafe/kitchen at entrance level which means you do not need experience. You will start with basic food prep experience, heating, drying and cooking basic food items, this is usually in the sides departments where you will be trained fully on each process. We know that it takes time to learn so we will ensure you are supported every step of the way.
You will be ideal for this position if you have a can do attitude, demonstrate a willingness to learn/be taught and a commitment to develop.
Normal hours are 30-40 per week, evening and weekend work is required.
Our pay scales are based on your skills and development, if you can learn quickly an develop beyond a trainee role, your pay will increase at the same time.
